Well now I think is an appropriate time to do an journal ^^

As I mentioned in an earlier entry, just not in detail, I entered both of my MV's into an AMV competition at Avcon down in Australia...well the convention was held over this weekend, and it turns out that my first video, Not Enough won for the best drama video! fuck ya! ^^

I'm so psyched, I can't believe it...for the last few days I've kinda been in a kinda shock about it, cause I never win things...ever hehe. Its just not in my karma to get the things I want hehe. So now like, because I didn't see it happen first hand that its a big joke or something on me, and any minute the punchline shall come. Lets just hope not XD

and coincidently, the guy who was/is my teacher when it comes to making videos, took first place in the Action category, so it was a total sweet for Epical Studios this weekend hehe. Go us ^^

I really wish I could have actually been there though, to see the videos played all big and with the atmostphere and whatnot, that would have been really sweet, but oh wells ^^

So now there is an interview tonight in the whee hours of the morning for me and lock about winning, and then there is another con in august where my newest video will be representing the studio, lets hope that goes well...and then there are a few other cons that I'll be entering into in the near future ^^

Also this weekend the newest Harry Potter book came out, yes I know, nerdy but whatever, I enjoy the story and environment of it all. So anyways, I was pretty pissed that I couldn't get out of town to buy it at midnight and read it all night, or get the days off to at least read it...But it turned out that my mom worked her charm and got the book for me at 7pm...thats 5 hours before the official release, yay mom ^^ so I got to read it at work and all night like I wanted...I ended up finishing the book within 24 hours of starting it....oopsy, guess I'll have to read it again...

I of course have alot of opinions and whatnot on it, and if you want to talk about it just IM me, I would rather talk over there then post up my shiznit here ^^

Took a trip to Vancouver at the beginning of the month, that was pretty cool ^^ I was hoping to move out there come fall, but I dunno whats happening with that, Alison wants to rent a place and get a dog....well if you don't know, in our price range, thats damn near impossible to do in Vancouver...but she's completely stubborn about it. So we'll see...

So yeah, I have three days off starting today and the house to myself, so I'm going to try and get some artwork done that I've been working on...we'll see what happens.
